This is by far the neatest, most "ergonomic" interior layout I've seen for a loft/apartment here on dA. I just want to climb into the picture and live in it!!

I'm picturing the coffee table rising up to be a standing desk, or folding over the lap as you recline on the sofa. You could have a keyboard and pointing device stowed away somewhere for the things you couldn't do with voice or gesture commands. The screen could be a projection from the wall behind the sofa leaving the floor nice and open for a workout space. It would also feel really nice if the living room and dining space were lifted a step or two above the entryway.

Upstairs, the desk could be a shelf without the obstruction to the left of the chair (like the dining table). Also, the computer tower could be placed on an overhead shelf exposing wiring and plugs.

Maybe the bathroom is out in the hallway shared with the other lofts? There might be an open mirror and sink behind the camera in the last angle. I'm picturing an indoor fountain over river rocks underneath the mirror further back from the sink, with a bonsai tree off to the side where it gets just enough light. In lieu of the couch, there could be a king-sized concrete dais layered with wood to lay a futon over - something of a cross between a diwan and a maritime "rack". Maybe a solid headboard in the direction of the glass railing. This would also allow a standing shower somewhere in that space behind a separator without walls. There's enough atmosphere in the whole place that it wouldn't fog up or smell like bath products. The toilet would be tricky - it would be right above the kitchen. But then again, if there were a "powder room" behind the front door where there would also be a shoe and coat rack (plus washer/dryer if there's not a laundromat common to the entire building), the water lines could be split off from the ones running into the kitchen. You would have to live a lifestyle of waking up, brushing teeth first thing in the morning at the sink and heading downstairs to do your duty before heading back to the kitchen for a morning beverage or going into the living area for a yoga session. Once you're done reading up on news and correspondence in the lounge, you head upstairs to wash off and dress. Then, either you cybercommute to work either at either of the computers (desk or lounge), or you head out the door behind the staircase, picking up food & drink for the road and bundling up in entryway coat closet.

If the whole unit could be unplugged from water, electricity and sewer lines to be moved around, I would love to see it picked up by crane from one high-rise to another - or off to a plot on the ground. Although, you can't really play Jenga with them if such lofts weren't stacked for that kind of reconfiguration.

Thank you so much for this inspiring interior design. It suits my fancy like you read my mind!
